Close to New Zealand
Lat 47 ° 30'S, Long 161 ° E at 12AM of 26th February 2009
In these 2 days past OnitronI-Autoprestige ave manteined a good route to SE and now are about 250 miles to Stewart Island south of New
Zealand. The wind is good for direction and intensity, and Vittorio and Piero
are quiet, their thoughts are directed to go fast the boat, because there is a bit
off delay, especially with the appointment Cape Horn, which it estimate will be to the end of April. For now the 2 yachtsmen wait to passage of New Zealand
to go up a little in latitude and find a better climate; the moisture continues
to be very annoying, than the cold, which stood at temperatures about 12-14 °
during the day and 9-10 at night. Now About 6000 miles before
arriving at Cape Horn.
